Coronavirus - July 2021 Update

Please note Osteopaths are primary health professionals therefore the practice remains open during this pandemic. To book an appointment I ask you to be totally free of any fever, cough, altered sense of taste and smell or breathing difficulties (unless you suffer form a pre-exising chronic condition that can explain these symptoms). Equally please do not attend if you or anyone in your household is self-isolating due Covid 19. Please be assured that this practice adheres to stringent infenction control guidelines. Appointments are staggered to minimise contact between patients and practice is sanitised and cleaned after each session. On arrival please wash your hands or use hand sanitiser. Due to the nature of osteopathic treatment requiring close physical contact I ask my patients to continue wearing a face mask. Please remember that all these measures can only minimise the risk of infection rather than eliminate it completely, it is important that you understand it and are happy to book face to face consultation. I hope you are all well and I look forward to seeing you

As an Ealing osteopath I welcome patients of all ages, from babies to teenagers, pregnant women and senior citizens.

I graduated from University College of Osteopathy (formerly knowns as British School of Osteopathy) in 2008 and went on to complete an MSc course in Paediatric Osteopathy. I used to work at the internationally renowned Osteopathic Centre for Children in Central London, where I treated many babies and children as well as pregnant and postpartum mothers.

How can an osteopath help me?
Osteopathy is a philosophy of healthcare aiming at restoring body's natural balance and concerned with the link between the structure of the body and the way it functions. It acknowledges that the living body is a self-renewing, self-regenerating, self-recuperating system which maintains health constantly throughout life.

I will consider your whole body and the way it works, taking your lifestyle and habits into account, not just treating the one bit that hurts. This way, I can help you to change your posture and behaviour, so the results are long lasting.

Osteopaths are regulated by the General Osteopathic Council and the title "osteopath" is protected by law. They are trained to diagnose conventionally and also to use their hands to assess body function and dysfunction. This gives them uniquely sensitive information about the disability within the body and how this insight might be used to help restore health.
